What People Are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions:

We know choosing the right trainer for your dog is a big decision—especially if you’re dealing with stress, worry, or frustration about their behavior. Our goal is to make the process clear, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. Here are some of the most common questions we get from pet parents just like you.

  • Do you use tools like prong collars, e-collars, or choke chains?
Nope. We believe dogs don’t need painful tools to learn. Training should strengthen trust—not damage it. We use positive reinforcement and humane, science-based methods that teach your dog what to do, help them feel safe, and create real, lasting change.

  • Do you work in-home?
Yes! We start with a virtual first session so we can talk through your dog’s history, challenges, and goals without distractions. After that, if you’re in the DFW area, we come to you for hands-on sessions. If you’re outside that area, we can continue virtually—many clients get amazing results this way too. We have clients all over the United States, as well as South Africa, Australia, Canada and the UK.

  • What behavior issues do you work with?
We help with everything from big feelings to big challenges, including:

    • Aggression toward people or other dogs

    • Interhouse hold aggression - aggression towards dogs or other animals in the same household

    • Barking, lunging, and reactivity on walks

    • Separation anxiety and isolation distress

    • Fear, phobias, and confidence-building

  • Do you train dogs from breeders?
Absolutely. Whether your dog came from a breeder, a shelter, or a rescue group, we’ll meet them where they are and help them become the best version of themselves.

  • Do you have experience with different breeds?
Yes—we’ve worked with everything from tiny, sassy Pugs to gentle-giant Boerboels, and each dog gets a plan tailored to their personality and needs.
