bringing out the superhero in your dog
Positive reinforcement behavior modification and dog training that works!
Beth believes in an approach that includes the pet parent in every step of the process. While it is very important that we can get results from your dog, it is more important that YOU can get those same results. We approach every situation with empathy and desire to educate. Beth believes that she is more of a people coach than a dog trainer.
We look forward to working with you and your dog!
What People Are Saying
“Beth at Rehab Your Rescue Behavior Services is wonderful. We had a foster pup who had fear based aggression with my daughter. Beth came to our house to work with the foster pup and us. She gave us easy to implement, effective ideas to help the foster understand that my daughter was safe. Then while she was at our home, she also identified a long standing issue with one of our dogs. Our dog does not trust new people in our home, but she took to Beth immediately and Beth gave us ideas to help our dog work through her protectiveness. We couldn't recommend Beth with more confidence, thank you Beth for your help!”

“Beth is incredibly helpful! She helped us with our English Setter rescue as he was lurching and barking at other dogs on our walks. He is not always a perfect gentleman, but most of the time, he is responsive to us and so much better at not reacting to other dogs on walks. She immediately connected with Gibson and showed us so many great tips to get his attention that we would have never figured out. Definitely recommend!!”

“I won’t train with anyone else. Beth truly knows her stuff, and is so patient and kind. Both my dogs love her, and love all the treats they get while training :). She always has research and examples to share after each session and she’s real with you about progress and makes sure you are real with your expectations. I’m very appreciative because she always makes sure I am doing the best for my dogs, or using the right kind of training to ensure they are happy and mentally and physically healthy.”

“I started working with Beth at Rehab Your Rescue at the beginning of October 2020, a week after fostering and falling in love with a rescue. Suffice to say at the time I formally adopted him, I didn’t know the full details of his fear aggression and had never either rescued a dog before or had any experience of dogs with behavioral issues.
At the start of my journey there were two things I was sure of; I wasn’t going to give up on him and I absolutely was not going to condone training using anything other than force free.
It became apparent very quickly that my rescue had what to me was severe reactivity & aggression to strangers in the house. Beth came for an initial consultation and met us so she could assess him and we agreed a training plan which we regularly reviewed and made changes as appropriate. Beth was also able to connect me to a Behavioral Vet Specialist when the time was right for us and the two of them have worked hand in hand, which has really felt like the coordinated care you’d experience yourself as a patient.
I knew it wasn’t going to be a quick fix, we’ve stalled at times & taken steps back, but Beth’s support & faith in us never wavered. We set realistic goals and we’ve hit some big milestones, with more to come.
Do yourself a favor, the world and his wife will have suggestions of how you can train your dog and things you can try, leave it to the professionals!”

“My beloved dog was struggling with separation anxiety, which changed the way the whole house lived. We had worked with another trainer but had plateaued. We couldn’t go out for dinner together without finding a babysitter for our dog.
Beth helped us to find what was going wrong in our training to move ahead. Our dog has been able to be alone more than ever before. It’s really improved the quality of life for all of us. Even though we’ve “graduated,” I still want to text Beth about every success!
Beth has always been very honest with us. She was up front about what she expected and what we could expect. Once we called her, expecting it to be the beginning of a new training program, and she told us we didn’t need a new training program, we just needed to return our dog to his better routine.
Beth was also able to help us with some other problems we’ve had, even from the other side of the country. Having her on our team made the hard work seem possible. I wholeheartedly recommend her.”

“Beth and her team have an unmatched genuine care for each dog and family she encounters. I have never met someone who wanted to see our dog grow and learn just as much as we did! She immediately saw what our pup could learn and become rather than the challenges he faced- this was so refreshing for us. Beth was incredibly responsive to any question I had - which allowed us to feel confident and set up for success in our training. Beth is the definition of an advocate, ally, encourager, professional, and educator. I would recommend Beth 10/10 times and will forever refer to her with our training and behavior questions.”
